The VSCCA has been invited to display their vehicles at the Rivendell Flower Show on the 6th of October. The show is described as "a celebration of spring, the great outdoors and our Australian lifestyle, offering an array of flower displays and gardening workshops".
The Rivendell Flower Show is held amidst the beautiful architecture of the Thomas Walker Estate. Rivendell was designed by architects Sulman and Power and was used as the location in Superman Returns, and The Great Gatsby. Building commenced in 1891 and was opened as a convalescent hospital in 1893.
The setting of this building is superb, on the banks of the Parramatta River. This promises to be an enjoyable day, with displays and attractions of interest to all.
IMPORTANT
The organisers request that display cars arrive between 8 and 9 AM and no cars will be allowed to access the display area after 9.30. Vehicles will be able to depart after 3 PM. Click here for the Rivendell Flower Show Map which shows the display parking area.
